Impact Lead
Based in our offices at Second Home, Spitalfields.
Salary dependent on experience.
Flexible working expected (all of us work flexibly in one way or another).
You will need to have the right to work in the UK in order to be able to undertake this role.
MoreThanNow is a behavioural change practice using a scientific model to transform the workplace. We’re unique because of our commitment to experimental research and deep academic collaboration.
The Impact Lead is a new role at MoreThanNow. It’s designed to identify where to target our experiments to maximise impact for our partners, and ensure the results convert to lasting change and new avenues of exploration.
In practice, this means you’ll be our gateway to the world: an experienced navigator of large organisations and an advocate for the value of applied behavioural science. You’ll have plenty of experience in one or more areas of people and change, and a clear vision of what behavioural science can do to make it better.
You’ll love that we do things properly.
MoreThanNow was founded to raise the standard of how we think about the workplace. For the last eight years, we’ve done that by pioneering the use of Randomised Controlled Experiments. To read more about our unusual approach and ways of working, check out our Experimenter Series with partners from Nationwide Building Society, Ericsson, Novartis, NatWest Group, INSEAD and the London Business School.
We’re now broadening our focus on experiments into a broader suite of services for our partners. Designing and evaluating change interventions will always be at the heart of our work, but we want to make sure they are laser-focused with more mixed-method diagnostic services. We also want to help our partners get the most from our research, through roll-out support and follow-up trials.
You’ll make this happen!
You’ll have experience in everything from identifying and developing new partnerships, to delivering culture change projects, to landing data analyses and research insights in enterprise organisations. We’re a small, growing company so you should expect - and enjoy - plenty of diversity, pace and entrepreneurialism.
We’ve left the salary open so we can speak to people from a broad range of experiences and backgrounds, from someone ready to step up to their first leadership role right through to someone that might be seen as a ‘director’ in the business.
These are our ‘must have’ requirements:
An experienced manager of consulting engagements or internal projects within large organisations, preferably in people and change or a periphery domain (risk, communications, corporate social responsibility etc.).
An experienced development manager with a strong network and the ability to find new partners, engage people with unfamiliar ideas, and turn them into high-quality research and real-world impact.
A passion for behavioural science and the power of experimentation, preferably underpinned by an MSc, PhD or equivalent, but it’s okay if you need to be supported with technical expertise.
Don’t worry if you’re unsure, just send us your CV and we’ll keep the first conversation completely two-way. Behind the scenes, we’ll make decisions about those next steps in a structured, systematic way. Our big tip is to show us how you’ve ‘made behavioural science happen’ in large, private-sector organisations. That’s what we’re all about!
